FLEET CAPTAIN'S RACE

Each year PLYC hosts their Fleet Captains Race, the first race of the year. This race is also the first of three races which counts towards the High Point Trophies awarded on Opening Day 2009.

The race is open to everyone. There will be two classes, spinnaker and non-spin. Check-in will be between 10:00 and 10:45 at the PLYC clubhouse. Check-in is not mandatory. There is no entry fee. The race course and instructions are available in the links below. The race will be in North San Diego Bay and the first start is at 12 Noon.

Following the race there will be an after race party and race results (no trophies, just bragging rights) at the PLYC clubhouse.
